The Quest for a Happy, Healthy Relationship

Is a healthy and happy relationship possible? If yes, how does it look?

A happy, healthy relationship is a conscious relationship. It is one where we are aware of our beauty, bad habits, fears, beliefs, and needs. One where we can speak our needs without demanding and learn how to turn conflict into intimacy. Finally, it is one based on trust and compassion for our imperfectness as human beings. The biggest quandaries in a relationship, I believe, are 1) how do we deal with disappointment well, and 2) how do we get our needs met without hurting or wounding the other person?

It’s important to know that we are teachers, not therapists. We teach deep life and relationship skills and concepts. Clients are given homework each week that they are expected to complete.  We provide a more proactive environment where there is no re-hashing without a shift in perception.

To make sure this is the right environment for each couple, we recommend 6 two hour sessions in office in two months. From there we will evaluate whether they are growing as a couple from our work or if they would benefit more from a licensed couples’ therapist (we have many to recommend). If we all agree to continue, an 11 session package is recommended. These can be broken out into some single and some couples’ sessions or all couples’ sessions.

There is a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. There are no refunds. However, you can stop this program whenever you wish with 30 days written notice.

*Trello is a software that is private and will track everything from concepts learned, homework, excuses, resources and much more. The library I have created through Trello is the core structure of this proven program.

The Work for Couples

  • To make sure this is the right environment for each couple, we recommend 6 two hour sessions in office in two months.
    From there we will evaluate whether they are growing as a couple from our work or if they would benefit more from a licensed couples’ therapist (we have many to recommend).
    If we all agree to continue, an 11 session package is recommended. These can be broken out into some single and some couples’ sessions or all couples’ sessions.
  • Clients will have 33 private sessions with Cindy (in office, virtual or a combination).
  • Clients list their goals and expectations and have homework from each session indicated on their Trello* Board.
  • In between sessions, Cindy accepts phone calls free of charge, for up to 25 minutes, plus emails and texts.
  • Clients receive links to resources to enhance their Quest such as Ted Talks, relevant reading, books, poems and more.
