Happiness Minis: An Inspirational Video Series

We have programmed ourselves to act and react in a certain way. We do what we do the way we have always done it.

To find more happy in your life, you will need to shift what you have always done – to bring to you new results. What is the best way to instigate this kind of change in your life? PAUSE. We all have a Pause Button. We just don’t think to use it.

pausecoffeeMy mother always told me to think before I speak. Well, I’m telling you to PAUSE before you speak or act. It doesn’t have to be a long pause (and it can be). You can have a short pause to close your eyes and take a deep breath. You can ask to have 5 minutes or even 5 days before you answer or act. During this time you evaluate your feelings, your thoughts and the words. Asking yourself: “How do I want to respond to this person in this situation?”

When we take the time we need, we allow ourselves to not do the knee jerk reaction of old and start acting in a new way. Use your Pause Button to find more happy in your life.
