About the Beneficiary
The National Capital Lyme Disease Association (NatCapLyme) strives to improve the quality of life for people suffering from Lyme and other tick-borne illnesses by offering support and disseminating information that educates and empowers patients, families, healthcare workers, and the community at large about these diseases. NatCapLyme encourages individuals to advocate for themselves in their goal to regain their health. The organization offers regular patient support group meetings throughout Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, and DC, as well as information, speakers, and news updates on legislative and scientific developments.
All proceeds go directly to the National Capital Lyme Disease Association (NatCapLyme) and will be used to educate the public and physicians about symptoms, diagnosis, treatments, and methods of prevention, as well as to fund Lyme disease research efforts.
